Edward Chaltron (verified owner) –
I purchased this as a replacement/upgrade for my base Ender 3 S1 after a horrific vice grip incident. This head does not contain the cable or roller mount. That is a different kit. It does not come with the board (and cable connector), touch sensor, or shroud. The only thing it comes with that are not pictured are the heating cartridge and thermistor. If you¡¯re purchasing this to build a normal S1 into an S1 pro, then you¡¯ll have to do some tinkering.
So far, it¡¯s working fine on my printer with the STM32F401 CPU (compatibility may vary between S1s due to Creality making a mess of firmware releases and a complete lack of consistency between S1s). I¡¯m actually seeing better print quality with the same settings I had on the old extruder. The only issue I had was some initial gear skipping but it cleared itself up after a minute.
I¯m only writing this review to make up for the lack of support and transparency from Creality. I¡¯ll update the review if the new extruder decides to cause firmware issues or if it spontaneously combusts.

The Creality Sprite Pro extruder is a great design – I especially love that the whole extruder/hotend assembly simply unplugs after removing four screws.
